Billing & Refund Policy

1. How charging works

Direct Stripe subscriptions renew monthly until canceled in the account billing portal. Pausing or deleting a workspace does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Review the amount and recurrence in Checkout before confirming payment.

Aquedra wallet usage is separate: you top up prepaid credit and pay for running hours. Insufficient balance or more than 8 continuous running hours pauses wallet workspaces without deleting files. Monthly subscribers do not also pay these hourly wallet charges.

2. The free trial

New trials are temporarily disabled. Previously granted trials require no payment method and generate no charge. When a trial ends, nothing is billed automatically: your workspace is paused and you decide whether to continue.

Deciding not to continue never costs you money, but it is not indefinite: 60 days after expiry the workspace is archived and the disk released, and the archived copy is kept for 180 days. The Terms explain the notices we send at each step.

3. Unused credit

If you no longer want to use the service, you can request a refund of your unused credit balance within 14 days of the top-up that created it. We refund to the original payment method.

Credit already consumed by workspaces you actually ran is not refundable, because the compute was delivered.

4. When we always refund

• A charge you did not authorize
• A duplicate charge, or a charge for an amount other than the one shown
• A workspace that was charged but never provisioned (this one is refunded automatically, without you asking)
• An incident on our side that left you unable to use what you paid for

5. How to request one

Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, telling us the approximate amount and date. We reply within 3 business days.

Once approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer — usually 5 to 10 business days.

6. Stopping

There is nothing to cancel: since there is no recurring subscription, simply not topping up means nothing more is charged. You can delete your workspaces from the panel whenever you want.

7. Your rights as a consumer

This policy adds to your legal rights, it does not replace them. If the law of your country gives you a broader right to a refund, that right applies.
